Requires persons who purchase or obtain a Public Access AED to register the device with an AED registry within 30 working days of receipt.

Registration must include AED manufacturer, model, serial number, specific location where kept, and contact information for a person in management at the facility.

Public Access AEDs must be kept in registered locations, reasonably maintained with replacement batteries and pads, and comply with all manufacturer recalls and safety notices.

Authorizes public safety agencies to inspect Public Access AEDs during business hours and direct owners to remove non-functional devices from public access or remove/cover associated signage.

Exempts Private Use AEDs (such as those in residences) and Mobile AEDs (in vehicles or at temporary locations) from registration requirements, though owners are encouraged to maintain them properly; effective August 1, 2014.
