Commissioner of Education must convene a working group to develop recommendations for Minnesota to participate in and adopt the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children

Working group membership must include teachers, school board members, school administrators, military members with children covered by the compact, and other interested stakeholders

Working group must develop recommendations covering acceptance of out-of-state exams and course credits for graduation, waiving graduation requirements for equivalent coursework, enrollment flexibility, extracurricular activity requirements, and other compact-related issues

Commissioner must submit a report to legislative chairs and ranking minority members of committees with jurisdiction over K-12 education and veterans issues by January 12, 2015
