School boards and teacher unions must jointly develop teacher evaluation and peer review processes, or implement a state-created evaluation plan if no agreement is reached.

School districts receive $455 per full-time equivalent teacher in state funding for training on teacher evaluation and development, excluding districts with alternative professional pay system agreements.

Charter schools must develop and implement teacher evaluation and peer review processes under the same standards as traditional public schools and are eligible for teacher development funding.

Peer coach observation and interview notes are confidential personnel data and can only be shared with school officials with the teacher's consent.
