Wadena County may sell 38 tax-forfeited lands bordering public water identified by PIN numbers, notwithstanding existing Minnesota Statutes sections 92.45 and 282.018, subdivision 1.

All conveyances must be approved by the attorney general, who may correct land descriptions for accuracy.

One additional parcel (PIN No. 03-023-1020) may be sold only after the existing timber contract on the land is fulfilled.

Four parcels along Union Creek (PIN Nos. 22-600-0830, 22-770-0010, 22-770-0020, and 22-770-0030) must have permanent conservation easements granted by the commissioner of revenue to provide angler access, with easement widths of 66 feet.

Wadena County determined that returning these lands to private ownership best serves the county's land management interests.
