Exempts dental clinics and offices performing diagnostic imaging through dental cone beam computerized tomography from accreditation requirements under Minnesota Statutes section 144.1225, subdivision 2.

Excludes dental cone beam computerized tomography from the definition of "diagnostic imaging service" in Minnesota Statutes section 144.565, subdivision 4.

Clarifies that dental clinics or offices performing dental cone beam computerized tomography are not considered "diagnostic imaging facilities" subject to state licensing and accreditation standards.

Allows dental practices to perform dental cone beam computerized tomography without obtaining licensure or accreditation from entities such as the American College of Radiology, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, or the Joint Commission.

Effective date: the day following final enactment.
