Eliminates new part-time peace officer licensure in Minnesota effective June 30, 2014, allowing only those employed as of that date to continue indefinitely.

Requires the Peace Officer Standards and Training Board to cancel licenses of part-time officers who leave their agency of employment or are not employed by a law enforcement agency on or after June 30, 2014.

Grandfathers existing part-time peace officers employed by law enforcement agencies on or before June 30, 2014, permitting them to remain in their positions indefinitely.

Repeals Minnesota Statutes sections 626.8462, 626.8464, 626.8465 subdivision 3, and 626.8468 subdivision 2, along with Minnesota Rules part 6700.1101 subparts 5 and 6.

Directs the Peace Officer Standards and Training Board to amend related administrative rules to implement the elimination of new part-time licenses and cancellation procedures.
