Modifies the definition of "available for suitable employment" to include applicants who cannot perform their previous job due to illness or injury, if they can perform other employment and are willing to accept it.

Requires students with regularly scheduled classes to be willing to discontinue classes to accept suitable employment, unless they are enrolled in reemployment assistance training.

Relabels and reorganizes subdivision 15 provisions regarding labor market absence, work hour restrictions, and daytime employment availability requirements.

Directs the revisor of statutes to change all appeal deadlines in Minnesota Statutes chapter 268 from 20 calendar days to 45 calendar days.
