Allows high school students with an individualized education program (IEP) or 504 plan to transfer between public schools without losing eligibility for varsity competition.

Transfer must be made as a reasonable accommodation to reduce barriers to educational access.

Transferred students become immediately eligible to participate in league-sponsored varsity competition on the same basis as other students at their new school.

League and school districts may still enforce penalties for violations of league or district rules.

Effective the day following final enactment and applies to all transfers initiated after that date.
