Designates the building at 345 Kellogg Boulevard West in Saint Paul as the "Minnesota History Center" (replacing prior address at 160 John Ireland Boulevard) and clarifies the Minnesota Historical Society's authority over its administration.

Renames "Meighen Store" to "Historic Forestville" in Fillmore County and adds two new historic sites to the state historic preservation inventory: Sibley Historic Site in Dakota County and Washburn Crosby Complex (Mill City Museum) in Hennepin County.

Updates references to the National Historic Preservation Act to cite current federal law (United States Code, title 16, section 470 et seq.) and repeals two subdivisions of section 138.662.
