Commissioner of human services and Council on Asian-Pacific Minnesotans shall establish an advisory task force by June 1, 2014 to research support systems for Asian-Pacific Minnesotan women and children in vulnerable circumstances.

Task force must evaluate effectiveness and accessibility of existing support programs, with focus on women with limited English proficiency, recent refugees, and immigrants.

Task force shall recommend culturally and linguistically accessible resources and programs, and provide cost estimates for implementation.

Task force must submit recommendations to the commissioner and Council by December 19, 2015, with findings and recommendations reported to legislature by December 31, 2015.

Task force expires upon submission of the report or January 1, 2016, whichever occurs first.
