Amends Minnesota Statutes section 124D.10, subdivision 9, to clarify enrollment preferences for charter schools.

Requires charter schools located in townships that serve prekindergarten through grade 6 to give enrollment preference to students residing within a five-mile radius of the school and to siblings of enrolled students.

Maintains existing enrollment preference requirements for siblings of enrolled pupils, foster children of enrolled pupils' parents, and staff children before accepting other students by lottery.

Takes effect for the 2014-2015 school year and later.
