Reduces minimum internship duration from 12 weeks to 8 weeks while maintaining the requirement of at least 16 hours per week at minimum wage.

Delays legislative reporting deadlines by one year, with initial report due February 1, 2016 instead of 2015, and effectiveness analysis due February 1, 2017 instead of 2016.

Maintains existing program requirements including written agreements between employers and institutions, $2,000 maximum credit per intern, and annual reporting on number of interns hired, hours worked, and compensation paid.
