Requires disclosure of genetically engineered food and seed sold in Minnesota beginning January 1, 2015, with labels stating "Produced with Genetic Engineering" on packages, containers, or retail displays.

Exempts processed foods where genetically engineered materials account for less than nine-tenths of one percent by weight, processing aids and enzymes produced through genetic engineering, organic-certified products, and food from non-genetically engineered animals.

Prohibits labeling genetically engineered food as "natural" and protects retailers from liability for processed food products that fail to comply with disclosure requirements.

Provides protection for producers who unknowingly grow or sell commodities contaminated with unintended genetically engineered materials and requires written statements from suppliers confirming non-genetic engineering origins.

Authorizes the Commissioner of Commerce to adopt rules and enforce the disclosure requirements under existing enforcement powers.
