Allows Court of Appeals judges whose permanent residence is more than 50 miles from their chambers in St. Paul to receive additional reimbursement for housing and mileage expenses.

Housing expenses reimbursable at an amount set by judicial council policy, with a minimum of $1,000 per month.

Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between judge's residence and St. Paul chambers at the current Internal Revenue Service reimbursement rate.

Reimbursements paid by the state using the same process as district court judges under Minnesota Statutes section 484.54, subdivision 3.

Effective July 1, 2013.
