Allows active duty military service members to take the peace officer reciprocity examination in Minnesota, in addition to honorably discharged veterans.

Requires applicants to have "relevant military experience" defined as: five years in military law enforcement, OR three years in military law enforcement plus a two-year or higher degree, OR five years combined experience as a full-time peace officer in another state plus any military law enforcement service.

Active duty service members must provide documentation of current military status through active duty orders, Department of Defense Manpower Data Center status report, or Military Personnel Center assignment information.

Persons who pass the examination while on active duty cannot be licensed as a peace officer until they are honorably discharged and provide a DD-214 form.

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 626.8517 regarding eligibility for reciprocity examination based on relevant military experience.
