Applies all paternity determination provisions, presumptions, and procedures to maternity determinations in Minnesota law.

Changes reference from "biological mother" to "birth mother" in custody provisions and adds exception for contested paternity/maternity cases involving assisted reproduction with a written agreement identifying an intended mother.

Adds presumption of paternity when pregnancy was initiated by means other than sexual intercourse and the man was intended as legal parent pursuant to an express written agreement among all presumptive parents made before pregnancy initiation.

Effective August 1, 2013, and applies to actions filed on or after that date.
