Requires destruction of non-investigative data within 90 days of collection, and requires destruction of data upon request from program participants under chapter 5B unless data are part of active criminal investigations.

Mandates law enforcement agencies maintain a public log documenting specific times of reader use and aggregate number of vehicles scanned during each active use period.

Requires the Department of Public Safety to conduct biennial audits of law enforcement records to ensure data are classified and destroyed as required, with summary audit results made public.
