Amends Minnesota Statutes section 177.27, subdivision 4, to expand the commissioner of labor and industry's authority to issue compliance orders.

Adds section 181.722 to the list of labor and employment statutes for which the commissioner may issue compliance orders for violations.

Maintains existing procedures requiring employers to contest compliance orders within 15 calendar days of service, with contested cases heard according to Minnesota's administrative procedure rules.

Becomes a final order if the employer fails to file a written objection within 15 calendar days of service.
