Provides immunity from prosecution for underage alcohol possession or consumption under Minnesota Statutes section 340A.503 for persons who voluntarily seek treatment or observation at a health facility or detoxification program for immediate health concerns.

Grants immunity to persons who accompany another person voluntarily seeking medical assistance at a health facility or detoxification program for treatment related to immediate health concerns.

Offers immunity to persons who initiate contact with peace officers, emergency medical services, or 911 to report another person needing medical assistance, provided they are the first to report, provide their name and contact information, remain at the scene, and cooperate with authorities.

Extends immunity to the person receiving medical assistance in the scenarios described above.

Allows one or two additional persons acting in concert with the person making the initial report to also receive immunity if all requirements are met.
