Amends Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 127A.18 to clarify school districts' ability to request management assistance from the department.

Changes language from "if requested by a district" to "to a district upon request" to affirm the department shall provide assistance when districts request it.

Management assistance may include developing data, assumptions, priorities, and goals for districts to consider management and organizational alternatives.

Management assistance may also include analyzing alternative methods of organization and management, including coordination opportunities with other districts, and assessing relative costs and benefits.
