Honors Dr. Mary Tjosvold, founder and CEO of Coon Rapids-based Mary T, Inc., for volunteering work in Cameroon, West Africa with the Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity (VOSH)

Recognizes VOSH team of 29 people that distributed eyeglasses to over 4,000 people at a four-day clinic in Bamenda, Cameroon, with all eyeglasses donated by Lions Clubs and other sources

Acknowledges Tjosvold's founding of Margaret Tjosvold Nursery and Primary School in 2002 in Sante village near Bamenda, serving approximately 250 children

Commends Tjosvold's involvement in building an orphanage in Bambui for HIV/AIDS orphans and collaboration with Noah's Ark Cameroon to eliminate sex trafficking in West Africa

Directs the Senate Secretary to prepare and transmit an enrolled copy of the resolution to Dr. Mary Tjosvold, authenticated by the Secretary and Chair of Senate Rules and Administration Committee
