Adds brain development education as a required component of the family home visiting program under Minnesota Statutes section 145A.17

Programs must provide information on prenatal brain development and youth brain development, including brain development at different life stages, cognitive expectations, activities to encourage healthy development, and activities to discourage negative development based on a child's surroundings

Requires home visitor training to include early childhood development from birth to age five with specific emphasis on brain development

Amends existing program requirements to incorporate brain development information into home visits, center-based meetings, and staff training curriculum

Applies to community health boards and tribal governments receiving funding under the family home visiting program
