Department of Natural Resources online sales system for hunting and fishing licenses must allow applicants to indicate desire to make an anatomical gift complying with the Darlene Luther Revised Uniform Anatomical Gift Act, chapter 525A.

Department website must provide link to federally designated organ procurement organization website containing information about Minnesota anatomical gift laws, benefits of donation, and legal implications including revocation procedures.

Commissioner must distribute education about organ and tissue donation through Department of Natural Resources print and digital communications targeting hunters and fishers, prepared in conjunction with a Minnesota organ procurement organization.

When individuals consent to share private data for donor registry, commissioner must provide their name and address to the designated organ procurement organization; names and addresses remain classified as private data under section 84.0874.

Commissioner must submit report by January 1, 2018 to legislative committees describing implementation progress, departmental record access arrangements, and any delays or problems encountered.
