Amends Minnesota Statutes section 628.26 to establish statute of limitations for violations of section 626.556, subdivision 6, paragraphs (a) or (b), related to failure to report child neglect or abuse.

Sets the limitations period at the later of nine years after the person mandated to report fails to make a required report, or three years after the failure to report is discovered by law enforcement authorities.

Effective August 1, 2015, and applies to crimes committed on or after that date and to crimes committed before that date if the limitations period had not expired before August 1, 2015.

Also makes conforming changes to existing statute of limitations provisions for various sexual abuse offenses (sections 609.342 to 609.345) and other criminal violations.
