Appropriates $2,000,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2015 to the commissioner of agriculture for avian influenza relief grants.

Grants awarded to primary owners of commercial poultry production premises where birds were depopulated following USDA confirmation of highly pathogenic avian influenza.

Grant rate set at $7,000 per premises for each full month elapsed from date of positive confirmation until initial flock repopulation, capped at four full months maximum.

Appropriation available for expenditure until June 30, 2016.

Effective the day following final enactment.
