Appropriates $300,000 from bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of St. Peter to design and construct a veterans memorial at the corner of Highway 169 and West College Avenue.

Funds are not available until the commissioner of management and budget confirms at least an equal amount ($300,000) is committed to the project from nonstate sources.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $300,000 to provide the appropriated funds, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and Minnesota Constitution article XI, sections 4 to 7.

Effective the day following final enactment.
