Terminology changed throughout statutes from "doctor of osteopathy" and "osteopathy" to "osteopathic physician" and "osteopathic medicine."

Osteopathic physicians now eligible to be licensed to practice medicine in Minnesota under the same requirements as medical school graduates, including examination and residency training standards.

Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society authorized to recommend osteopathic physician candidates for board appointment, with the same procedures as recommendations for doctors of medicine.
