Allows funeral establishments with multiple locations to use one or more shared preparation and embalming rooms across all their establishment locations instead of requiring separate rooms at each location

Funeral establishments with other locations must bring non-preparation/embalming locations into compliance with minimum standards by July 1, 2017

When ownership changes, physical location changes, or building is remodeled, the existing preparation and embalming room must be brought into full compliance with minimum standards

Allows secondary establishment locations without licensed preparation and embalming rooms to conduct viewings, visitations, services, and hold human remains while awaiting final disposition

Prohibits secondary establishment locations without licensed preparation and embalming rooms from preparing or embalming dead human bodies
