Authorizes pharmacists to prescribe opiate antagonists (naloxone) as part of the definition of "practice of pharmacy" in Minnesota Statutes.

Requires pharmacists to complete a training program on opiate antagonist administration from an approved college of pharmacy, Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education accredited provider, or board-approved continuing education provider.

Pharmacists must prepare prescriptions and process them according to state law, provide counseling to individuals receiving opiate antagonists, and cannot issue standing orders or delegate prescribing authority.

Allows registered pharmacist interns to prepare opiate antagonist prescriptions, provided a licensed pharmacist reviews, approves, and signs the prescription before dispensing.

Pharmacists may prescribe and dispense opiate antagonists pursuant to this provision, section 604A.04, subdivision 3, and board rules.
