• Creates civil cause of action for nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images, allowing plaintiffs to recover general and special damages, profits made from dissemination, civil penalties up to $10,000, and attorney fees.

• Establishes criminal penalties for nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images: gross misdemeanor offense; up to 3 years imprisonment or $5,000 fine if aggravating factors present; up to 7 years imprisonment or $15,000 fine if two or more aggravating factors present.

• Amends coercion statute to include threat to commit nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images; amends stalking statute to include using another's personal information without consent to solicit sexual acts.

• Expands harassment definition to include single incident of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images and single incident of nonconsensual sexual solicitation; expands qualified domestic violence-related offense definition to include violations of new section 617.261.

• Establishes 3-year statute of limitations for prosecution of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images, tolled until offense is reported to law enforcement; effective August 1, 2016.
