Changes the industrial classification list update frequency from every two years to every five years under the AWAIR program safety and health requirements

Removes the exemption for employers with fewer than 51 employees from complying with subdivision 8 requirements and the July 1, 1993 deadline

Requires the commissioner to adopt a rule listing standard industrial classifications or North American industry classifications of employers subject to AWAIR program compliance based on their safety and workers' compensation records

Provides employers six months following the date their applicable industrial classification is placed on the list to comply with subdivision 8 requirements
