Requires the commissioner to annually collect deer hunter information on participation, satisfaction, preferences, values, interests, participation rates and patterns, and barriers to participation using established social science methods.

Mandates the commissioner submit an annual summary of collected information to chairs and ranking minority members of the house and senate committees with jurisdiction over environment and natural resources no later than January 1 for the preceding fiscal year.

Requires the commissioner to make summary information publicly available on the department's website.

Specifies that the commissioner must use existing resources from the game and fish fund to satisfy these survey requirements.
