Amends Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 16E.21 to clarify provisions governing the information and telecommunications technology systems and services account in the special revenue fund.

Receipts credited to the account are appropriated to the Office of MN.IT Services for personnel and technology costs that create government efficiencies and are available until spent.

Office of MN.IT Services may collect charges or receive fund transfers from participating agencies for purchases of information and telecommunications technology systems and services through state contracts.

Chief information officer must report by September 15 of each odd-numbered year to legislative committee chairs and ranking minority members regarding account receipts, project descriptions, and current project status.
