Amends Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 82.59, subdivision 5 to require the commissioner to grant a waiver of the real estate licensing experience requirement for the broker's examination to qualified active duty military members, veterans, and their spouses whose licenses lapsed or became ineffective.

Establishes that qualified individuals include: (1) active duty military members on the date of license cancellation or renewal deadline; (2) spouses of active duty military members on the date of license cancellation or renewal deadline; or (3) veterans or spouses of veterans who left service within two years preceding license cancellation and have honorable or general discharge status.

Eliminates fees and charges for qualified individuals applying for the waiver or retaking the broker's examination and waives any fines or penalties arising from the related licensing action.

Requires waiver applicants to submit a written request to the commissioner on a prescribed form accompanied by documents evidencing qualification and discharge status.

Specifies that the waiver lapses if the applicant fails to successfully complete the broker's examination within one year from the date the waiver is granted, and makes the provision effective the day following final enactment with retroactive application to licenses canceled before, on, or after that date.
