Authorizes lifetime game and fish license information to be placed on driver's licenses and Minnesota identification cards as a valid written designation of proper lifetime license.

Allows persons to satisfy license possession requirements by exhibiting a driver's license or identification card with valid lifetime license designation, in addition to carrying the physical license.

Requires the Department of Public Safety to maintain electronic records from the Commissioner of Natural Resources identifying persons issued resident lifetime licenses, including full name, date of birth, license category, and DNR license number.

Permits the Department of Public Safety to accept copies of DNR lifetime licenses as proof of issuance when applicants apply for driver's licenses or identification cards before electronic records are transmitted.

Effective January 1, 2018, or when the MNLARS system is ready, whichever is later.
