Amends Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 268.19, subdivision 1 to add "internal research" to the Department of Corrections' authorized uses of unemployment insurance data.

Department of Corrections can access employment data for case planning and internal research related to preprobation, probation, and postprobation employment tracking of offenders sentenced to probation.

Department of Corrections can access employment data for preconfinement and postconfinement employment tracking of committed offenders.

Changes the authorization from allowing data access only "for the purpose of case planning" to "for the purpose purposes of case planning and internal research" for all offender employment tracking activities.
