Creates an immigration integration task force to research state laws and rules that negatively affect immigrants.

Task force composition includes 5 governor-appointed members representing Minnesota's diverse immigrant communities, 2 House members (one from speaker, one from minority leader), and 2 senators (one from majority, one from minority).

Task force shall determine the extent to which current state laws and rules negatively affect Minnesotans based on immigrant status and develop methods to ensure future proposed laws consider impact on immigrants.

Task force must consult with the Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs, Council for Minnesotans of African Heritage, and Council on Asian-Pacific Minnesotans.

Task force shall report to the legislature by January 15, 2017, with recommendations for changes to state laws consistent with federal law that reduce negative impact on Minnesota immigrants.
