Extends the statute of limitations for civil actions alleging sexual abuse of minors under age 18 from three years to eight years following the effective date of Laws 2013, chapter 89, section 1

Applies to actions that would otherwise be time-barred under previous versions of Minnesota Statutes, section 541.073, or other applicable time limits

Excludes claims for vicarious liability and respondeat superior, but includes negligence and other claims against persons as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 541.073, subdivision 1, clause (2)

Applies retroactively to actions pending on or commenced on or after the effective date of this amendment

Effective the day following final enactment
