Amends Minnesota Statutes section 144.413 to clarify that vehicles used in whole or in part for work purposes are places of employment when more than one person is present, removing language that previously required vehicles to be considered workplaces only "during hours of operation if more than one person is present."

Expands the definition of "place of employment" to explicitly include vehicles used for work purposes as workplaces, thereby extending smoking prohibitions to such vehicles.

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 144.414 to remove an exception that allowed public transportation vehicle drivers to smoke when the vehicle is being used for personal use.

Removes the requirement for drivers to post conspicuous signs informing passengers when smoking is occurring in public transportation vehicles.
