$550,000 appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2016 to the commissioner of human services for a grant to the Isuroon Ethnic Food Shelf for startup costs including refrigerators, shelves, staff salaries, rent, and food purchases.

$350,000 appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2017 for costs including staff salaries, food purchases, and evaluation and reporting.

Base appropriation of $275,000 established for fiscal year 2018 and beyond.

Both fiscal year 2016 and 2017 appropriations are designated as one-time appropriations.

Effective the day following final enactment.
