Amends Minnesota Statutes section 116J.431, subdivision 1a, relating to the greater Minnesota business development public infrastructure grant program.

Specifies that "city" means a statutory or home rule charter city located outside the metropolitan area, with Cannon Falls explicitly made eligible to receive grants under this section.

Defines "county" as a county located outside the metropolitan area as defined in section 473.121, subdivision 2.

Defines "public infrastructure" as publicly owned physical infrastructure necessary to support economic development projects, including sewers, water supply systems, utility extensions, streets, wastewater treatment systems, storm water management systems, and phosphorus removal facilities.
