Amends Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 168.123, subdivision 2 to establish special veterans license plate designs for recipients of specific military expeditionary medals.

Adds new plate designations for recipients of the Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal, and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, each inscribed with a facsimile of the respective medal and appropriate inscription.

Adds new plate designations for recipients of the Korean Defense Service Medal and for woman veterans, with facsimiles or emblems as designated by the commissioners of veterans affairs and public safety.

Clarifies that National Guard and military reserves members ordered to federally funded state active service are eligible for Global War on Terrorism Service Medal plates regardless of veteran status under state law.

Provision becomes effective January 1, 2017.
