Modifies the Cook-Orr Hospital District's tax levy authority under Minnesota Statutes, section 447.34, without changing the maximum allowable rate.

Allocates 0.015 percent of taxable market value from the hospital district tax for Cook and Orr ambulance services to purchase ambulances and related equipment.

Restricts ambulance service funding to acquisitions, attached and portable equipment, and maintenance parts only—prohibiting use for administrative, operational, or salary expenses.

Requires the Cook Hospital to administer the ambulance levy portion and distribute equal amounts directly to the Cook area ambulance service board and the city of Orr.

Effective the day following final enactment.
