Commissioner of Health, in consultation with Human Services and Commerce commissioners, shall survey research and evidence on the efficacy of Masgutova neuro-sensory-motor and reflex integration (MNRI) for treating physically and emotionally traumatized children and individuals with reflex integration disorders

Study shall examine MNRI's effectiveness in treating neurodevelopmental, psychological, and learning challenges including dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, PTSD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral disorders, and speech/language/swallowing impairments

Commissioners shall develop recommendations on whether to include MNRI in the benefit set for medical assistance and MinnesotaCare and whether to require health carriers to provide MNRI coverage

Study shall be conducted in consultation with a working group of stakeholders including MNRI practitioners, individuals, families, and healthcare providers with MNRI experience

Commissioner of Health shall submit a report with study results and recommendations to relevant House and Senate committee chairs and ranking minority members by January 15, 2017
