Reduces redemption period for non-homesteaded land in targeted communities from three years to one year from date of tax judgment sale; maintains three-year period for other properties and one-year period for homesteaded properties in targeted communities.

Authorizes county auditors to direct businesses on tax-forfeited property to cease operations immediately while state holds title, with county and state protected from liability for resulting business losses or damages.

Allows counties to sell tax-forfeited lands through online auctions with at least 10 days' notice posted physically and on the county website, effective August 1, 2016.

Permits eviction actions when individuals hold over real property after expiration of redemption period on real estate tax judgment sales, and allows landlords to dispose of evicted tenants' personal property after 60 days of non-payment for storage costs.

Grants county auditors limited right of entry to vacant or unoccupied tax-forfeited properties to protect from waste or trespass, with authority to install locks, board windows, and take other protective measures; costs may be added to delinquent taxes.

Reduces repurchase period for non-homesteaded forfeited property from one year to six months, effective January 1, 2017.
