Postpones the mandatory review of state mathematics academic standards from the 2015-2016 school year to the 2020-2021 school year, with subsequent reviews every ten years thereafter.

Requires the Commissioner of Education to ensure statewide mathematics assessments for grades 3-8 and 11 align with state academic standards in mathematics.

Establishes a staggered review schedule for other subject areas: arts (2016-2017), science (2017-2018), language arts (2018-2019), and social studies (2019-2020), with ten-year review cycles for each.

Requires school districts and charter schools to establish periodic review cycles for health, world languages, and career and technical education standards on their own timelines.

Effective immediately upon final enactment.
