Allows residents of Minnesota veterans homes to obtain a firearm or muzzleloader deer license and take antlerless deer without a permit during regular firearms or muzzleloader deer seasons in all open areas statewide.

Exempts veterans home residents from permit requirements in all permit areas across the state.

Prohibits this authorization from applying to other party members in areas closed to antlerless deer or where antlerless deer quotas limit the number of permits.

Permits a person to assist a Minnesota veterans home resident during deer season without a hunting license, but prohibits the assistant from shooting a deer.
