Amends Minnesota Statutes to require school districts to report annually by October 1 the performance evaluation results for teachers and principals to the Board of Teaching and Board of School Administrators respectively.

Requires districts to report performance categories for teachers who completed probationary periods and accepted continuing contracts, including their licensure area and any teacher preparation program that instructed them.

Requires districts to report information on teachers and principals released or not renewed during probationary years, including their licensure areas and preparation programs.

Directs the Board of Teaching and Board of School Administrators to publish cumulative three-year summary reports of teacher and principal preparation program data beginning December 31, 2018, and annually thereafter.

Adds teacher and principal performance category data to the school performance reports that the commissioner must develop, update annually, and post on the department website by September 1 each year (or October 1 in years with new performance standards).
