Court orders certifying a class action, refusing to certify a class action, or denying a motion to decertify a class action become appealable as final orders or judgments.

All discovery and other proceedings in district court must be stayed while an appeal on class certification is pending.

Creates new Minnesota Statutes section 540.19 governing class action interlocutory appeals.

Effective July 1, 2015, and applies to cases pending on or filed on or after that date.
