Adds traffic control agents and Minneapolis park patrol agents to the list of public employees protected under Minnesota Statutes section 609.2231, subdivision 6.

Makes assault on these employees while performing mandated duties a gross misdemeanor, requiring demonstrable bodily harm and knowledge that the victim is a public employee.

Protects employees engaged in duties mandated by law, court order, or ordinance from assault.

Effective date is August 1, 2015.
